Dr Joseph Perese has special interests in sports medicine, biomechanical analysis and clinical neuroscience. He graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic), both degrees achieved with Distinction.

Dr Joseph previously studied a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the Australian Catholic University (ACU). During this time, he developed clinical interests in corrective exercise strategies and the biomechanics of human movement. He has also successfully completed all four modules and is certified in Functional Neuro-Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (FNOR).

FNOR is a treatment system that combines cutting-edge neuroscience with a rehabilitative approach to manage a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. The FNOR course have also given Joseph the ability to consult on complex neurological conditions such as concussion, post-concussion syndrome and chronic pain syndromes.

Dr Joseph is also currently completing his International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) with the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). Through this extended learning, Dr Joseph is able to treat a variety of upper and lower limb injuries using modalities such as extremity adjusting, kinesiotaping, dynamic taping and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM).

Dr Joseph is a very friendly, professional and passionate Chiropractor who is looking forward to promoting the benefits of Chiropractic to the wider Gladstone community.
